Overview
About This
Project
A 5-star 120-room resort built on challenging hillside terrain. Required innovative deep foundation engineering, panoramic glass facade installation, and an infinity pool complex at elevation.
The Challenge
The site sat on a 35-degree slope with loose volcanic soil, limited road access for heavy equipment, and extreme weather windows that restricted construction to 7 months per year.
Our Approach
A custom ropeway system was engineered to transport materials to higher elevations. Shotcrete-retained terraced platforms were constructed sequentially, each terrace forming the working platform for the next.
The Outcome
The resort opened on schedule and received a 5-star grading from the Nepal Tourism Board on its first assessment. The infinity pool and panoramic lounge have become landmark features covered in international hospitality publications.
